Common Query Tool

Introduction

This tool is automatically started when you click on a host in the Directory.

This tool performs with a single click the most common and useful queries of the MIB 2 objects. The interface status is displayed in color to rapidly identify a default. You could also administer interfaces from that menu by doing SNMP SET commands.

Display all SNMP objects of the MIB 2 System group.

IP

Display all SNMP objects of the MIB 2 IP group.

ICMP

Display all SNMP objects of the MIB 2 ICMP group.

TCP

Display all SNMP objects of the MIB 2 TCP group.

UDP

Display all SNMP objects of the MIB 2 UDP group.

Refresh Table Entry Selection

Display all objects of a SNMP table, here the table IfEntry.

The result is displayed in the Listbox.

The left column (cyan) displays the index of the collected objects. The results in dark blue are objects that could be modified directly from here. A single click in such a box call the window below

Load Script

You could perform manual SNMP requests by modifying the edit field.

Multiple requests could be sent in one shot by entering them on the same line with coma separation.

The request button starts the query, the result is displayed in the lower window.

The load script function allows reading a .sci file containing a list of SNMP OID objects created with the  ‘MIB Scripter’.

Refresh

This button refreshes the display of the interface zone.

Riht click on an icon interface

A right click on an icon interface opens a new window where you can manage the Interface administrative status. You could either de-activate the interface (status administratively down) or activate it (status administratively up)
