As the famous Ping program that sends a ICMP echo packet. The Snmp Ping tool sends a simple SNMP query and wait for an answer. It allows you to check that the connectivity is right, that the SNMP agent is working and that you have set the right Read community.

Example

The selected host is 10.33.10.121.

The default SNMP OID object is Sysname but could be change. Multiple requests could not be made from that program.
